MP2 Upgrade to HxGN EAM – Town of Glastonbury, CT

Background Incorporated in 1693, Glastonbury is amongst Connecticut’s oldest municipalities. The Town is located around 10 miles southeast of Harford and boasts many historical sites, picturesque scenery, open parks and easy access to the Connecticut River. It is resident to 35000+ households where people enjoy countless programs and activities offered by the Town and community organizations. Glastonbury is well known for its excellent public education, municipal management, and high quality of life.

Challenge The Town of Glastonbury Facilities department was seeking to replace the legacy MP2 system (with 20+ years old historical data) that was used for Facility Maintenance-related business transactions with a new system, Infor EAM, which involved Open WOs, Open POs, Inventory Transaction History, Opening Balances, Part master, Asset masters, customized reports etc.

Outcome  Innovee implemented HxGN EAM and migrated data from legacy MP2 system to HxGN EAM. We executed project management implementation plans, HxGN EAM installation, data migration, system configuration, demonstration, end user training, User Acceptance Testing etc.

Our approach has increased the Town’s credibility to help pave the way for a more inclusive and successful implementation. The Town team moved from a client based MP2 application to a Web Based Infor EAM application with a Mobile app to access EAM.
